Try this test with your existing
grout
1. Place some water on the
grout, if it darkens, that's because the grout is porous, and readily
absorbs moisture.
If the grout was
sealed with an epoxy grout stain colorant this wouldn't happen.
2. Place some coffee on the grout
and see what happens, if it stains that's because it wasn't sealed with our
colorant. If it was sealed with our
epoxy grout stain colorant, you could pour coffee all over it and it would
wipe up clean. Guaranteed .
Our epoxy grout stain colorants are
generally applied in
3 easy steps
Clean and dry the tile and grout in the area
you want to color .
Shake the epoxy grout stain colorant well, pour into a shallow
dish, apply product with a toothbrush or GDC colorant applicator and work it
into the grout with a light back and forth motion, it is ok to get some
colorant on the tile.
Let the epoxy grout stain colorant
set up for about 2 minutes, it will dry faster in the grout then on the
tile, so you can wipe it off the tile without introducing water. You
will have to judge the time according to room temperature. Then clean the colorant off the tile with a scrub pad. And you are done,
and you also saved yourself $3.00-6.00 a square foot by doing it yourself. Your
floor is ready for light traffic the same day.
